Made of pure sheep wool.

Use in Conservation: in the drying process for flat art on paper and sheets that have
been leafcast, or as a light weight on top of a Gore-tex® sandwich. Felt has ideal
drying properties, not drying too fast as with blotters or other highly absorbent materials.
Care must be taken to completely dry the felts after each use.

Our white felt goes through an extensive cleaning process and meets a S1 (highest) grade. Density: 26.2 (medium).

Our tan colored felt is cleaned, but doesn’t go through the extensive cleaning process like the white felt, which makes it a very affordable alternative. Density: 18.1 (soft).
